Globe Project (4 of 7): I've Got the Whole World in My Hand (Explore)![]() Used my 1-watt LED light on this one, as well. The light's in the same hand, I'm shooting with the other. Striking!
Actually, the pose I had to hold to get this shot was probably striking, as well! I didn't want the spotlights and street lamps around my house to show up in the shot, so I am actually holding the globe about a foot or so above my head, and trying to get a good angle, a good composition, a good highlight and to not drop either the glass globe or the LED flashlight were challenging. I'm sure if anybody saw me, I would've looked quite silly. But the shot speaks for itself. It's worth it! ------------------------------------------------------------ I was working on a design for a financial report for my church. Traditionally, this report features a world-missions theme in the design. So, while standing in our worship pastor's office, I spied this little crystal globe on her desk. So, I stole it. (With her permission, of course!) You'll probably see a few more treatments of this - hope you don't get bored!
