This was the first Amiga 1000 sold in the state of Virginia, back in October 1985. An amazing machine, it was.

Even back then, you already had an external floppy? I'm impressed. I remember, when I got my Amiga 500, I considered the monitor itself to be huge luxury. I would have to wait a few years before I upgraded to a dual drive system. Must've been nice.

Yep. I talked my mom into taking me to the shop to get the 256K mem cart, but amazingly on the spot I convinced her to also get me the 2nd drive. It was like Christmas morning, dude!!
