Watch Out!

Watch Out! by blakelyons.
This photo was taken with a Canon Rebel XTi w/ 18-80mm Canon Lens on a SunPak Platinum Plus Tripod set with a 10 second timer.

It was a 3 exposure 2 - 0 - +2 f-stop range. The photo was merged using Photomatix Pro & some further Curves, Ghosting Fixes, and other small adjustments were made using Adobe Photoshop CS3.

The cart was jacked up using a car jack in the very back middle of the cart. My friend (on the right) used his body weight to lean the cart. Then, we held this position for 3 shots! The cart used is a gas powered cart with the governor removed. It would do 40 mph! The inspiration came immediately after I drove this thing on wet grass. Sweet!

Excellent. Very creative. Now you just need to superimpose a 1000 foot cliff infront of the cart.

Sounds like fun, but wouldn't it be more fun to just go out and shoot this in real action, rather than propping it up to make an HDR?

great capture !!! would do something with the aura round the gyus and the car...
a little more contrast + adjusting the levels would produce a very nice "comic" - style i think...!
