This week's theme is old vs new and I found this a 1930 Royal Model P typewriter vs 2008 Lenovo Laptop. The typewriter is courtesy of Tom Furrier at Cambridge Typewriter in Arlington MA, he has many antique typewriters. I remember typing papers on a manual typewriter using whiteout on my mistakes.

And I remember using carbon paper for copies!! Wasn't that messy?
There is nothing like the feel of an old manual typewriter.

Great shot for the theme. Just looking at the typewriter brings back memories of staying up late typing papers with no spell check or delete!
