This week, Gyp lost her best friend ... His name was Tag and if you are familiar with my stream, you will have seen him over the years - he was featured in her first 52 weeks project in 2009. Tag was a Border Collie, taken way too young at 6.5, he had cancer. He was a one of a kind, and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Rest in Peace Tag. We love you.

A typical southern Alberta scene: Wind, Prairie, Wind Turbine, Mountains, and of course Gyp :)

these turbines provide wind energy for the province. there are hundreds of them and you'd never guess how big they are until you are up close and personal.

and i'm f'ing cute. a little Cuban cutie.

Tango is our friends new pooch. She was adopted through Windy CIndy Canine Rescue here in Lethbridge, Alberta ...VIA Veradero, Cuba. She's been in Canada about a month and she is WONDERFUL. You can just see the intelligence shine through.

Gyp stopped and pershed on this rock and stood there long enough for me to set my camera and take the photo. What was she looking at? A hiker and his dogs way in the distance along the ridge.

Gyp is back!! She was my 52 weeks muse in 2009, and is back for a second go 'round! I'm so looking forward to it!
