272001-09 Rudder Fabrication Part 1

272001-01 Rudder Skin-Roll out the coil or sheet aluminum
272001-02 Use Cutting Patterns-Find where to cut blank sheet
272001-03 Measure the length of sheet needed
272001-04 Using a carpenter square on mark to align straight edge
272001-05 Move square out of the way then draw line at straight edge
272001-07 Rudder Sheet Blank - Use Cutting Pattern to lay out shape
272001-08 Work carefully-Larger cut off pieces will be used later
272002-01 Bending Rudder-Tape strips about 6 inches apart on open edge
272002-02 Cover table with blanket to keep from scratching
272002-05 Align the edges carefully at end then tape together
272002-06 Pull edges together as you tape them
272002-07 Edged tacked together-But it will need reinforcement
272002-08 Use wide tape-Put about two-thirds of tape on one side
