There is another idiom for our collection. It means that there is a slender, slender, slender chance that something will be possible.
A chance is an unknown and unpredictable element.
I see my friend Chance in this picture. He is a blue apparition.
me: Hi Chance. We have not officially met yet but sometimes I play games with you.
Chance: Yes, I am friends with Lady Luck. How have you been B.G.?
me: Fine. What are you doing in my upside down picture?
Chance: I am just clowning around. I am a clown spirit.
me: Not another clown. Clowns are scary!
Chance: Yes but I am a ghost clown and ghosts are scary also. 2 negatives make a positive and that is how we are processing your picture today.
Chance: Yes. There is a 75% chance of positive ions.
me: An ion is a molecule with uneven protons and electrons.
Chance: My what a brainy woman you are.
me: No I am not at all. I googled.
Chance: Yes, but you knew what to google.
me: You were the one to bring up the subject.
Chance: Was I really? The apparition of chance?
Chance: Your positive molecules are going to be having some relative proportions to contend with.
me: they are?
Chance: It is considered a prophecy to portend with pictures. Relatives are going to be positioning themselves in the vicinity of the palace.
me: Oh that's right. Will they be arriving soon do you think?
Chance: It is likely that they will be arriving within the hour. You may wish to prepare yourself for a family reunion.
me: o.k. Chance. Thanks for letting me know. We do have technological advances and the ability to communicate over great distances but I still do it the old fashioned way and rely on my pictures to estimate arrival times.
Chance: You don't have to look at the crystal ball inside your head or enter a high trance to find out other peoples plans. You may use your telephone. You pay enough for it.
me: I know. Why do I have so many phones?
Chance: Because you are a woman who is expecting to be needing so many phones. Be patient and you will see what you will see.
me: O.K. but I have been patient for a long time.
Chance: You will be patient some more and then you will be rewarded for lengthy, lengthy patience.
me: If you say so. But when am I going to be rewarded?
Chance: When you are surrounded by pirates.
me: I am surrounded by pirates. I am having my pirate ship built and I have been spending my afternoon scallywagging and plundering and shooting off cannons.
Chance: Excellent job B.G. Keep up the good work.
me: I will. You do the same Ghost Clown.
Chance: You know it B.G.
