Max's Last Night in the Physical World - dying of hyperthyroid, liver disease, old age (nearly 17 years old) - Max was known for most of his life as "Fat Cat Max" - when life was good, food was fulfilling, and the body enjoyed the nutritional value of a meal. Birds were caught, no bag of food was past Max's realm of possibility, and simply put, Max was a great feline simpleton. Food and sleep were Max's main goals in life. Although he has always been one for a good belly rub, in search of a sturdy shoulder to hang out on, and a wonderful brother to Misha, the grey tabby cat.
