Lucy actually let another Dog in 'her' house!

Granted she dominated her for the first 10 minutes, standing taller, 'talking' to her and making her roll on her back.

But right now they're sitting together, playing together and even taking treats without any problems!

She's growing up and it's such a relief that I can trust her in these situations now.

Meanwhile, Leo has fallen head over heels in love with Chelsea and won't stop licking her face.

He sulked when I told him to stop (the poor girl was cornered and had slobber all over her). I have never seen him so affectionate with another dog, even Lucy doesn't get this treatment!

This is Leo's "I'm a good boy, can I please have some cheese" look... And who wouldn't?

Apologies for a delay in posting to the 12 Months for Dogs group, what a month this has been.

I am so thankful for having such great family and friends that have kept me so busy after Andrews passing.

The Dogs have settled and are back into routine though last weekend I visited some old friends and left the Dogs with my good friends... Lucy couldn't care less and pretty much ignored our leaving to play with them but the look on Leo's face nearly broke my heart as we were shutting the door on him.

Lucky he was fine when we got home but even walking out the front door to check the letterbox leaves him a little anxious as to why I'm closing the door on him again and wondering how long I would be gone for this time.

Danes are so funny!

I finally got rid of the ridiculously useless HTC Incredible S and got myself an iPhone 4s... Love it!

Instagram is a lot of fun, for what you have to do with layer adjustments and lots of fiddling around in photoshop just takes a touch of a button!

Lucy hasn't had the best experience with strangers and children over the years. It's made her very wary of everyone and would run away or growl if anyone she didn't take an instant liking to came near her.

Luckily we've never had any physical aggression problems but it's worrying and frustrating when she can't relax and has to feel that way.

Recently, due to some well behaved children and having so many people around, Lucy has been able to trust people more and more.

Last night I had my wonderfully crazy Physie friends around for a fun party and the Dogs were surrounded by laughter, pissed ladies and dancing...

...And they loved it!

In fact, one of the ladies gorgeous daughters, who is 13, was smooching her cuddling her all night, rendering Lucy into a complete sook, loving every minute!
