i saw these mulberries outside, and i just couldn't resist!!

these berries remind me of my childhood, when me and other buddies were climbing mulberry trees... it was quite dangerous, but the reward was so sweet..... sweeeeeeeeeeeeet dude...... LOL 'dude' is actually the romanian translation for mulberries!!

it's in the simple things that you find the pleasures of life! (somebody smarter than me said this a long time ago, but i don't remember who it was) ;)

I love these. Reminds me of my childhood too. Didn't climb the trees, we use to put a blanket under the tree and start shaking the poor thing. But haven't had one in 16 years, thanks for the photo.

We used to pick heaps and heaps when we went to the Grandies' for holidays. If Nanna was quick enough she would make pies out of them {:->

Trivia for the day: If you get mulberry stains on your hands/mouth/clothes, just get the white (unripe) ones, rub on the stain, rinse with water and it comes right of.
