i love the solidness of a little one in my arms. i love sprightly little cheeks, still warm and wrinkled from a nap. i love the mussed wildness of an almost-seven-year-old's hair (i will cut it before his birthday. i will.) i love the lilting voice of an eight-year-old reading to the two littles. i love knowing that my husband is on his way home for supper (i can't even begin to explain how he quiets my heart).
