An ordinary sea gull near Kaikoura. While the subject itself is not that impressive it is a good example just for how good the 70-200 performs :)

Golden eagle nose dive / Steinadler im Sturzflug
A golden eagle doing a nose dive towards the falconer. They can reach a top speed of 300 km/h - think of 9kg at that speed!
