Delta Vega Cracking Station

The late Albert Whitlock's iconic matte painting of the cracking station on Delta Vega as featured in the second pilot of Star Trek from 1965. The story was later edited slightly and made into the TOS episode Where No Man Has Gone Before.

Note that this shot, showing the entire landing party, was not used in the episode, though the matte did appear several times with Dehner and Kirk standing in the doorway in the most similar view.
