le Jardin chinois (au Jardin botanique de Montréal)
We loved the Jardin botanique; I wish we'd had more time to explore it. It was a lovely, peaceful afternoon with gorgeous light.
Info about the Jardin botanique can be found on its official sites, here in English, and ici en français.

Wherever you go, Japan seems to follow you, huh? :-)

Well, this is China, not Japan (get it right, Mr. That's-Slovene-Not-Slovak!) ;-)
But seriously, yes, I was totally delighted to find this part of the botanical garden. It was huge, delightful, and very nicely done. There was a Japanese garden next to it, which was also charming, but I enjoyed the Chinese garden the most.
There was even a woman playing the erh-hu (二胡) in a pavilion across the lake--delightful--and a big selection of Chinese bonsai. (Camera ran out of battery before I could get any pix of them!)

Lovely setting - and I really like the composition!

Thank you! People rarely seem to comment on the composition, more the subject matter, so I appreciate that.

Power of Positive Relationships: multi-arch stone bridge relates to single-arch stone bridge... also in a northern North American location with harsh winters. :-)

i find that the colors of our two pictures are also a point of relation... this is an interesting and well captured shot!

What a beautiful location! I think our harsh northern winters make us appreciate seasonal views such as this all the more. Seen (in the Power of Positive Relationships group)

@Monika, I hadn't noticed the similarity of the colors, but you're right--thanks for pointing it out.
@Driver, re appreciation of summer beauty b/c of long winters--you are quite right I'm sure!
@both, thank you very much for the compliments!
