Basta already with the rain! Normally I don't mind having a storm or two hit town, but we've been living under the Storm That Never Ends for days and days... and for the last few of those days that has also meant that I'm living under a couple inches of water. Yesterday wasn't nearly as bad as the day before when both my kitchen and my living room flooded, but I really would like to not have puddles in my apartment. Or bubbling brooks. And really really don't want any more ponds.

So moody and beautiful. Almost makes you want to cry to mourn the day.

OOOOoooo. I like the silver/blue/purple with the black negative space. As for the water....maybe taking up flyfishing could make the Kitchen Brook more fun? ;) Keep that personal flotation device (PFD) close by your bed when your sleeping.

Your dam idea worked, by the way--- towel was sopping wet this morning, but the living room was dry. When are you gonna come over and build that proper channel so I don't have to mop up every morning? ;)

Nice magenta/blue (reminds me of 1 of the Fuji slide films).

Sucks about the flooding in your cave. The worst part of all this rain is that we're going to get a butt-load of mosquitos afterwards. With your luck, you'll probably get snakes, too.

Beautiful shot. Great deep blue color. And watch out for those mosquitos. The ones at your place have been busy sucking up all manner of exotic diseases from the zoo animals below ... :)

that sucks. McGill's entire apt was filled with water up to his ankles. had to tear out the carpet and a bunch of his stuff got wrecked, cuz it happened while we were out to dinner and drinks, so he didn't know it was happening.

I love abstract photos like this. They make you take a second look to figure them out. An reminds me of abstract painting which ironically I don't like. Great job.
