Black-capped Chickadee Looking for Handout

Very tame Black-capped Chickadee at Caumsett State Park, New York. I was attempting to get some pictures of them and a lady puts her hand out and the birds start landing on it. One actually landed on my finger as I was trying to snap another picture. I guess a lot of people feed them in this area.

You mean all we have to do is stick our hands out and the birds fly to us? How much easier does photography get? Now try this with an Osprey! ;)

It might help if you have some food but I'm not sure they cared. They didn't stay in one spot very long - I got a number of photos with no birds in them - lol. It's a good thing I have a big memory card :-)
