Surprised they didn't confiscate your camera phone! Actually, that's one of the reasons all this 'you can't take photos' here security is so maddenly; anyone with a cameraphone can easily do so undetected.

Yes, I had time to kill and wanted to take some photos of National Airport. I had thought of using my "regular" camera -- but didn't want to be questioned. I've had that happen elsewhere before and it's always an unpleasant experience to be harassed or questioned. So I took about three dozen photos with my camera phone (not as good as my regular camera, but perfectly acceptable) without being bothered once. Some more photos to come a little later on. --Bill

Eeps... the security line. I had to catch a flight out of SEA last Friday early in the morning... before coffee early. The line was outrageous, but as I walked down to the next terminal to see what was happening with their line, a magical entire new line was opened, right in front of me. It made my day.

Airport security looks like the nightmare I've heard it is. I haven't flown anywhere since 9/11, and I think I'll try to avoid it. I think the security measures would be maddening, and this line proves it.
