New York's Famous Papaya King
The city that never sleeps -- and this is one of the reasons why. Located on 86th and Third, Papaya King has been a New York landmark since the dawn of time.
This photograph was taken without a tripod, at ISO 3200, as part of my "tripodless New York at night" series. I decided not to lighten the dark areas of the photo (and show the people around Papaya King) so that the marquee's light would be the main focus of this photograph. HOT DOG!
Last time we were in the city, we made a special pilgrimage to the Papaya King. Treated ourselves to a Home Run, a Slaw Dog, and Cajun Fries With Cheese. I even went back for a couple of more dogs. Washed em down with a large Papaya Drink.
DELICIOUS!!!
Will go back for more when we visit again.
Now you have made me hungry :-)
