This is a terrific shot. The color,
composition and detail is impeccable. She's
a beautiful woman and you captured the finest
details of her beauty. Excellent work.
Faved.
Beautiful portrait, wonderful capture,
lighting, and subject. My only nit is the
backround behind the hair is yellowish which
makes it look like it was Photoshopped.
@ electronic alchemist: Well, it is photoshopped! =] But, I know
what you mean. I see it too, but I notice it
less at the large size.
@ Prozac74: Sure, let me think about boiling down the
steps into a generic flow. But, I bet most
of the things I did are already listed in the
group.
@ PhotoGsy: I don't know if I have a favorite, they're
all different for me, but seeing this shot
straight from the camera is what inspired me
to 'shop them in this manner. There are a
few others I might do, but I think these
photos had the strongest starting point for
the post-processing.
Congratulations! This image is currently one
of Flickr's most interesting photos for 1
November 2006. (It is on page one of the
calendar view. In fact, it’s currently #1!) Would you please add it to the Interestingness pool? It would be a great addition!

That is an amazing portrait. Very nice postprocessing also. How about posting a little "how to" in the "Technique"-group? I'd be really curious.

Great shot, but I reckon 'Spellbinding / Spellbound' is my favourite so far in this series.
