Holidays are over

The Caltrain commuter trains have been fairly empty since before Christmas. Traffic picked up noticeably today on the train and on the freeways.

The purple and blue train at the far left is Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) to/from Stockton, CA.

Approaching on the left side of this platform is Train 329, a Baby Bullet that will depart for San Francisco at 8:03. This is the train I will board.

On the right hand side is Train 231, which will depart at 8:22 for Express/Limited Service to SF. I catch the 8:22 if I miss the 8:03.

California Amtrak Capitol Corridor Service between Sacramento/Richmond/Oakland and San Jose/Santa Clara also makes two stops here during the morning commute. VTA Light Rail station is also adjacent.
