Kids Tandem

Brown Cycles KidzTandem. Seen in Palo Alto on Hanover at Page Mill Road during my commute this morning.

Note the linkage connecting the steering handlebar to the front fork.

Cool Tandem. Reminds me of another bike called the Love Bike. Is dad wearing earphones (iPod) or is that a bluetooth earpiece?

I was behind them at a light and the little girl in the back was an absolute doll.

The bike sort of looks like a cargo bike but with a kid in front instead of a big aluminum box. Hmm .. it would be kinda cool to transport kids in a cargo bike.

If I ever have kids, I would have to audition to make sure they had the right sense of humor ... too bad it's not like fishing where you can just throw back the ones you don't want.

Neat! My dad retrofitted a tandem with "kiddie pedals" so that the cranks were further up the tube and there was an extra chain going down to the bike chain ring. It was pretty neat! I was probably 8 or 9 when I was riding it with him.
