"Due to inclement weather, Cityrail apologises for minor delays on all timetables this morning." - 'Inclement weather'?? It RAINED A LITTLE BIT fer chrissakes! In Seattle it'd still be considered dry! What, are the trains made of tissue paper?

Yes, the trains don't like it when it's cold and wet and who can blame them. You should be thankful they come out in winter at all! Next you'll want them to be on time or something... whining commuter ;-)

Yeah, yeah, another completely funless commute into work this morning, thanks Cityrail. At least there's a bit of wind this morning - I understand how strong wind might mean you have to run the trains a little more slowly, but really, rain?
I ran into a friend from Finland on the train this morning and he was telling me how in Finland the train tracks are *iced-over* for a few months every year. Cityrail, you don't know how easy you have it.

That's nothing! In London, yeah, sometimes fallen leaves pile up so high on the line, yeah, that the trains skid right through the stations where they're meant to stop!! Crazy!!
