Mac Mini Cube Oblique View
Mac Mini, Accessory HDD, and Airport Extreme all fit nicely into an extra Macintosh Cube enclosure I had lying around.

This would have been so much cooler if you retained the inside part which made it opaque. Perhaps you could spray it one colour so that all of the innards cannot be seen and it's like your own personal system :D

What happens when you need to use the optical drive? ...or do you just not?

Here's a link for the Virtual Laser Keyboard:

...and for the wireless keyboard with built-in joystick:

All of the devices (except the base station) have fans which vent out the rear, which is why the temperature stays manageable. There is one large and two small openings on the top, and about 1/4 inch clearance all the way around inside the enclosure, so we get ample air movement. As to the wireless setup, the Airport on the Mini is disabled, and plugs into the Base Station directly. My Lightscribe DVD burner is used for my optical drive, and is under the table, closer to my easy chair, so I don't have to reach so far! For most cases, however, I network my powerbook to the mini and allow the mini to use my powerbook optical drive to access disks. VNC just makes this stuff too fun!

Amazing how far they have come. I have a cube. When it was new, it was the smallest thing out there.
