I grew up on the block where these houses are
located, Maujer Street between Morgan Avenue
and Waterbury Street. The house on your
right belong to a nasty old man named Mr.
Frick. He was a racist old dog. When I
moved into the neighborhood, around 1969,
this block was populated by a lot of cops and
firemen. We were, I think, the first Puerto
Rican on a block that was mainly White.
