Just wanted to share my photo with you of me viewing my picture ‘Birmingham Market’, in the final 8!



I have a wrist injury at the moment, and therefore cannot currently take any photos – well, not any decent straight ones anyway. I am itching to get back into it when I am fully better, and being a part of the Big Picture is something really positive to keep me going until I’m fully healed!



It is such an exciting opportunity and a real honour to be a part of the Big Picture and let alone in the final 8. As a photographer who is still learning I am my worst critic and I honestly never thought I’d make it through at all. I’m so glad I have this opportunity to represent Birmingham and what it stands for, which is a City at the forefront of culture and diversity.



I want to wish all the finalists the very best of luck, and to thank those who have been looking at my photo, for all their lovely comments.
