It's a pity the IOC's tiresome insistence
on amateur status excludes Blackwater
employees from the London 2012 US Pistol
Shooting & Running Team but I'm sure the
reclusive Erik Prince could assist with
sponsorship given the help and leeway the
State Department has given his company to
profitably overshoot its targets in Iraq.

Actually, the IOC long ago abandoned its
insistence on "shamateurism" ...
the multiple appearances of the various
"Dream Teams" put the final caps in
the head of that relic.
I'm thinking that this rule change might
level the playing field, though ... opening
up possibilities for Iraqi insurgents,
Taliban and other freelance mujahedin who are
out of the "pro circuit" ...
