let me tell you, the things I've heard this week have been pure comedy.
it's funny how some people can spend a few hours w/ you but feel like they KNOW you.
You can't even pronounce or spell my first name right but some how YOU have the right answers for me.
Amazing.

At times, I thought about packing up my sh*t and moving to Paris (after spending about 2 weeks in Rio, ha).
I would dye my hair and work in some coffee shop.
My mom would eventually get a postcard in the mail stating that I was ok.
But that's not my story right now...

Right now, I'm a person with some major life alternating decisions weighing on my mind.
Tomorrow, mi madre is coming over to help me sort some things out mentally.
What I can tell you is - I have a vision for myself.
I just need to figure out how to bring my thoughts into reality.

Today, a wave came crashing down on me.
I called my mom and she began to cry for her daughter.
Of course, I began to cry b/c her tears weren't my intentions.
The only thing that I could think of was to pray.
It seems that we all have defining moments in our lives and 2012 appears to be my year.

Keep me in your prayers b/c I sure do need them now.

Please note: I'm in good health and mind...I just have some things to figure out.

The Moroccan stew came out quite good. Eggplant, chickpeas, tomatoes, raisins, bell peppers, carrots and some spices with a bit of onions and garlic. I bought the 5 minute couscous and didn't bother with the prepackaged seasoning.

You can find this recipe out of "The Vegetarian Gourmet's Easy International Recipes" cookbook or online.

I think Tandoori Tofu is next on the menu.

Oh and I brought my laptop into the kitchen so I could watched "The Fighter." Christian Bale really commits to the role 100% (kinda scary).

i went to bliss spa, did a lil shopping, got my ears pierced (again) by a man that was wearing confidence like cologne, went to my now fav noodle spot in the E. village, finally finished a book that took me 4 years and that Bom Dia Acai w/ pomegranate juice is an orgasm in my mouth (delicious).

Here in NJ, my local supermarket is Stop and Shop. I feel like I'm at the saks fifth avenue version of supermarkets b/c everything is practically organic or just over priced. Today, I bought Bom Dia Acai w/ pomegranate and this Siggi's yogurt from a company based in Chenango, NY.

In an attempt to keep myself healthy, I plan to actually cook. My gas bill for last month is $8.59. This Sunday challenge is Moroccan Stew w/ couscous.
