Visiting a beach on a windy day in winter when it's under 40 degree outside isn't something to make a habit out of. As crazy as it sounds, it was a pleasure to be there.
This mysterious woman was one of the very few people hanging around. She was actually sitting on a log nearby when we spotted her and was walking away when we arrived.
Without thinking, I pulled my camera out of the bag as these birds flew by. I took a shot then another and was impressed by what I saw on the LCD screen. Then I looked back at the beach and she was gone, no where to be found.
I wasn't sure how she managed to disappear all of a sudden, but these two shots deserve to be shared. Enjoy!

I love visiting the beach in the winter. It is so raw, crisp, and abandoned. This shot is contemplative. The birds frame it so well.

Amazing image (and nice context with it - could you have followed the footprints?) Everything works so well here - the birds, the figure, the ship on the horizon... and the colour / light are fantastic.

That was a good point, I didn't follow her footprints. But still, the beach was totally naked. No people, no obstructions, nothing block our view at all, and we still couldn't spot her anywhere after. My friend just laughed and said "May be she is a ghost.", so I told him it doesn't really matter as long as I could transform her in to RAW. Anyways, thank you for always put so much thought into your comments. I truely appreciate it.
