I don't see any "strobing." Perhaps his monitor is set to 65 Megahertz. I happen to enjoy the pattern in the carpet and I think the focus is fabby. I don't have a foot or shoe photo fetish but I find this one interesting.

I agree about the carpet..it adds something stimulating to the image that the shoes don't. I like the difference in the focus from the left foot to the right, and I can't delete a photo for a fashion faux pas. Besides, Michael Jackson made gillions wearing white socks.

Shooz: you know why you like it.. and probably why I don't. The DoF one foot to the other is great, in a bit of cultural content which has signifiers with white sox, so it's knowledgeable, and the carpet is airport classic. It speaks, in other words. And it's got technical goodness.
