Excellent photograph with an almost cinematic aura that pulls you in under it's spell.
This is the very beautiful Palladian "Hiram Sibley Building" in Rochester, NY at the corner of East Avenue & Alexander Streets in the downtown East End Cultural District. Rochester,NY has many beautiful buildings with a lot of historical significance. Hiram Sibley, like George Eastman, was a wealthy inventor & industrialist who founded Western Union Telegraph & The Sibley Music Library (at The Eastman School of Music.) His home & many of these mentioned bldgs are on the Nat'l Historic Register.

I'm loving this picture. For somebody who lives in a country that doesn't have snow, or at least not in the cities, these kinds of images always captivate my romantic vision of a snowy day in a city. I love the tones and the composition of this shot. A favourite :)
