Highland Games 2005

2005 Scottish Highland Games, Illinois State Fair Grounds, Springfield, Illinois.

This is the fifth year I've been to the Springfield Highland Games. I was heavily into video my first few years, so I don't have any photos of those games. This is the first year I actually shot the dancers. This is also the first year I had a camera (Nikon D-70) worthy of shooting the dancers. I got more dramatic shots shooting the dancers than in all the previous years of shooting the bands and athletics.
