I haven't quite got the hang of music to videos and unfortunately the last second was cut off because it was too long. But here's my boy and his strange handjive - this time to music.

A lovely Flickr friend sent me this beautiful embroidered tea towel. I wanted to take a photo of it to show my appreciation. I had an idea of laying on the garden table with some pretty cups on in making a still life.....Ray had other ideas!

Health update: Had my bloods taken today but no results as to whether the infection has abated enough to go back to oral medication. I am back at the hospital again tomorrow unfortunately.

On Sunday afternoon after a lovely morning, I became violently ill. I had a terrible fever and could not stop shivering. I was also very sick. This went on for several hours and at first I thought I had some kind of food poisoning. However, when I woke up on Monday morning I found that the bottom of my right leg had become inflamed. I knew as soon as I saw it what it was......cellulitis. I had it occur when I fell and snapped my tendons in my finger before Christmas. It was only a small patch but it took two lots of antibiotics to get rif of it. What I didn't know then is if you are prone to it, it will return. I had a blister on my heel from new shoes rubbing and the bacteria has got in through that and the rest, as they say, is history. My doctor gave me strong oral antibiotics on Monday but by Wednesday I was still no better, so it was off to hospital to have them administered intravenously. This is my second day and there is some improvement. Tomorrow I return for another dose and to have my bloods done to see how well I am improving. Hopefully, I can return to taking oral medication over the weekend as Phill and I were hoping to get away for a couple of days. If not I will be spending the Jubiliee weekend in and out of the hospital.
