We were very priviledged to get to see the African Hunting Dogs when we visited Port Lympne as most visitors are not allowed to see them. They are an endangered species and Port Lympne Wild Animal Park are working hard on their conservation

Pretty little Elsie
Well folks this is Elsie. Taken without a flash - so it's not very sharp (don't want to frighten her on her first photo shoot!)

Just thinkin'For those enquiring about Elsie.........She stayed hidden all evening in the corner of the room. I had put food out next to her but it remained untouched. Phill is away all week so I took Elsie, the food and a small litter tray into our bedroom and kept the door shut. At 4.00am this morning she started miaowing in a pitiful manner and this continued for the rest of the morning (yep I feel like s**t right now) Good news was she ate the food in the middle of the night and used the tray. This morning she wolfed down another plate of food. I have left her in the bedroom away from the other two (we have a very small house and this is the only realistic space she can stay in on her own). She has some water, biscuits and a view out of the bedroom window..........that is where she was sitting when I shut the door. Kaiser is concerned and keeps a watch on her all the time. Mojo doesn't seem pertubed.

Everything will be alright.........I promiseWell we collected Elsie and brought her home at 1.30pm. It was a terribly emotional for her 'mother'. She has been hiding in a corner ever since. Mojo gave her a cat 'kiss' when she came out of the carrier and then walked off (couldn't have wished for better). Kaiser crept over to where Elsie was hiding, she looked at him and he hissed (but in a kind of pathetic "I'm more scared of you" way. She is a real sweetie and so I hope it works out. There's no reason to believe it won't
