We went a school outing to the 2012 Olympics Site the other day. It was an awesome field trip even though it only lasted one morning. We were there to look at the 2012 Aquatics Centre, designed by Zaha Hadid and being buit by Balfour Beatty. In this photo you can see the cluster of skyscrapers at canary wharf and in the foreground to the right is part of the Aquatics Centre roof.

Even Stratford didn't look so bad when the sun was shining!

Terrace terrorists

We had a few friends over to watch the fireworks at ally pally from our roof terrace. The display was great -accompanied by classical music- and the evening rounded off by nachos, warm cider and two bottles of bubbly.

Mendhi

After months of harried processing, I've finally finished the photo's for Shree's Mendhi. This is where the bride to be, female relatives and friends get the henna out. It was good fun but a bit tiring and I'm glad I've got the photos to hand over.
