Bunting Magnetic Cerface Flat Base

Brass bar weld rule used as roller supports.
Resalite plastic furniture and Challenge speed quoin.
The ceramic magnetic inlays are actually so strong they are laid in sideways, like a galley magnet. The magnetism is thus given over to the steel inserts between the inlays.

I find speed quoins preferable. The only time I do not use them is when I cannot fit them into the bed. It doesn't matter in which direction the base is locked, that is dictated by the form (photopolymer plate). A second base added here would allow me to take full advantage of the press bed (Vandercook SP-15), such as when printing a broadside or poster.
