Gigantic Paving Project on East Shore of Wards IslandI wonder if they intend to pave the entire area up to (or including) these trees.  As seen from Tri'bo headed west. Looks like a net loss of parkland compared to what was there before the renovations; I think there used to be baseball diamonds in this spot. Is this so the Manhattan private school crowd can drive their SUVs a mile to see their kids' sporting events?
