Great photo... like Bryan, having a hard time picturing exactly what this might have looked like. There's a video here, which is cool, but I still have a hard time grasping it.

It is immersion in text, in light, in dark, and all the spaces of in-between-ness--at times, when walking through and within the projections, you become one with the text, or part of the text, or you distort the text, the text distorts you. Words flow, disentangle themselves from one another, from language while being emphatically in control. Text is spattered against you, flowing up your body--huge letters and then they are out of reach above you, below, all around. You cannot stop the flow, the shifting, the thereness. You are in the thrall of text as spotlight, as floodlight--as silent barrage. Along the floor of the enormous gallery, large lumps of beanbags further distort the words, bending them, stretching them. And people--visitors-- lie on them to look, to feel and to literally occupy the silences of the spaces between words and the huge ominous flashes of language, of story, of repetition.

I could have stayed for hours...
