known as the "forest of the departed" this is a memorial for the march 11th bombing back in 2004, when bombs were placed on four trains running from alcalá to the atocha station in madrid (the exact way that we would go to madrid).

i really liked the idea of planting trees in memory. this is in the midst of the huge parque del buen retiro.
