Sam, Sam, the Gorilla Man
Every day, from 9-5, Sam stands outside a mattress store on Market
Street in downtown Akron, OH, holding a sign that reads, "Will
work for bananas." Passers-by honk their horns as Sam waves and
dances in the middle of the sidewalk. He's very friendly, I promise.

I like the location (grew up in Wilmot OH) and your portrayal of this street scene. Thanks for the extensive caption. Black poles don't look exactly straight, but then again this is humorous scene.

(Trying to get the numbering on track, lol) It is a very funny picture, and is very focused and clear. The colors are good as well. It does need to be straightened.

Nice angle and idea, but the pole is distracting

I like the vivid colors here. Really funny picture, especially now, that tne new King kong movie is out. I'd frame it in portrait, and try to show more detail in the gorilla's black furry area.

I bet Sam hates the summers...that suit looks hot from here. Just wish you had captured him dancing!
Thanks for the smile. Nice work!

I would give this guy money. I always want panhandlers to be creative. I give them money if their creative, especially if they make me laugh. It may not be very philanthropic, but I figure a laugh is worth a few dollars.

We used to call it " East Akron" ot old timers called it Middlebury. I stood in front of the millstone by the fire station for a frozen eon waiting for busses.
I always beep at the ape, no matter who is inside the by now stinky costume!
