Clearly, this is a disguised self-portrait. I was an extremely picky eater as a kid. Also, I like how the apron-wearing mom is barefoot.

From an alphabet book I made when I was seven years old. I drew the pages sitting at my aunt & uncle's kitchen table, and my mom helped me make them into a book. I took the book to school to show to my lovely first-grade teacher, Sue Lonowski, and she laminated the pages for me.
