    not about any part, just in which mode have you taken it? and was it against the sun or the sun was behind her? :))

    I took it in Manual mode, because I shot it with a lens which isn't electronic and so doesn't 'talk' to my camera if I shoot in an Auto mode. The sun is in the top left corner.

    Beautiful flare! :) Would you grant me permission to include this picture in a research talk I'm about to give at SIGGRAPH 2011 (next week)? I'll be talking about computer-rendered flare, and this photo is a nice example why one might want to do that. Needless to say, you'd get proper attribution.

    Oh gosh, erm...does it say in the EXIF data? Yeah it does, just after quarter past 7 in the evening, but it was May hence the early sunset.
