Wow - a lot of comments on this one! That must have been a huge hiccup. The color perked my eyes up from the thumbnail and his curves are fantastic in your framing. Great shot! I just want to know where his three cards are...

Congratulations! You're on page 6. This is still great the second time around (good thing I faved it earlier - I'll always know where to find it). I did forget to say earlier I liked your title. Thanks for your note. I was curious about how many shots went up per day...

Great and beautiful, and for sure much better in Nature than as a purse or belt...

Cool pic. I've have cropped out the stick, or shown more of it. Blazing highlights and a little OOF on the right don't work for me. On a subject this big I would want greater DOF.

lovely title and wonderful lively green but I want to see the head. I think the composition doesn't really work!

Great, vibrant colours here. But I think a tighter crop (feel free to remove note) would have given even greater visual impact and removed some distractions in the frame.

I am not sure. I like the framing but, providing I take it, I wont let a part of the snake out of focus. By the way, I feel that suggested cropping would ruin the composition.
A great son with a minor problem.

Would you consider adding this pic (and other appropriate pics in your photostream) to our Vivarium group pool, please?

Emerald Tree Boas are among my favorite snakes. I really like the composition of the frame.. it gives the impression of being in close quarters with the snake, which, with the maxillory teeth on these guys, wouldn't be a good thing. These snakes are definitely efficient hunting machines. They rest in coils all day, waiting for birds to fly by in the darker hours, throwing their bodies into the air, gripping the branch with their tails. Okay, sorry. :) I love snakes.
