Fireworks - St. Louis

Please take the time to look at some of my other work: Here are some of my best in a SLIDESHOW Or, for a quick glance, try the thumbnails of some great pics of mine.

4th of July fireworks at the St. Louis Arch.
NO changes in saturation, levels or contrast. It is a layered composite of about 6 photos. I "cut out" parts - like the black area to the left - that were too bright to allow two other pics to show through. . .

Very nice at first glance, but all the layers make it a bit odd afterwards, especially the cut out zone, all that "stringy black" kills it for me.

Got a bit of that dandelion gone to seed look, especially off to the left. Kind of a good representation of why some dandelion photos inspire thoughts of fireworks on the other end of the spectrum.
