A quick one-page view of my recent photos on black
- Building began in 1907
- 20 different artists covered 83,000 square feet with mosaics
- 41.5 million pieces of glass
- Mosaics started in 1912 and were completed in 1988
- A prime example of Romanesque architecture.

This is a 5-shot HDR. I've always wanted to do an hdr of this most beautiful cathedral. The longest shots were 30 seconds.

I'm speechless that you would fave an HDR of mine. I think you, valpopanado, Kris Kros, loensis and "Stuck in Customs" are the very best HDR photographers on flickr. To get a fave from you = at least 5 faves !!!

You don't need RAW to do HDR, I usually do them form JPEGs. All you need is 2-5 shots and Photomatix. Otherwise, if you have Photoshop, it has HDR capability, too. I think the real value of HDR would be in quality of the PRINT. On a monitor, and with a JPEG HDR you can still only see 256 shades of light/dark.
