Poem: Love me, if you love me
I love you Summer :) ... see you in a month, stay strong beautiful. x 05.07.10
(+comments) Ok, so this photo was taken in a feild next to my house. I took several photos, none of which I expected i'd put on flickr, I didn't think they were any good. Though, I kinda like this photo, it's certainly not the best (not by a long way, there really some amazing photos on flickr), however it's ok. :)
Love me, if you love me
- for someone special, written by me.
The Sun is ever golden
The Sky a dreaming blue
Love me, if you love me
Forever, if you do
The moon it glows with silver light
The stars, they do their part
My love is never fleeting
It’s longing for your heart
The stars, they know what true love is
They see it every day
They also know what’s in my heart
They know I’m here to stay
Those days they pass a hundred times
The years they stretch on by,
Things will drown and ware away
My love will never die
When hourglass is running low,
The sand grains won’t delay,
Though Eternity may wait for us
My love will never sway
Love me, if you love me
Forever, if you do
And in return I’ll love you back
I’ll love forever too
Ps. Nepal in 8 days. No communication with anyone for a month save those few i'm travelling with... Ahhhh SCARED MUCH :S
Though... my exams are over (finally) which i am like... super happy about :) So... YAY!

Story: the Ladybird and the Dragonfly (Explored)
(My first Explore! Thank you so so so much everyone! Unbelievably happy right now!)
I'd love to be an Author... I'll write a short novella about these two one day.
I think one of the best ways to get a good photo (not that I would consider this photo is even close to good), is to NOT know what you're looking for
I wandered to this little corner of my Garden earlier. What did I discover? Well, an insect colony - just that. At least 10 Butterflies, 15 bees... and then... and then on the grass... a few paces off, were these two. I noticed them just out of the corner of my eye. They were beautiful. Really beautiful, and they just sat next to each other in total harmoney. It seemed as if a story needed telling about their companionship.
I'd never seen a Dragonfly before, not since primary school, where I remember standing by the school pond in the wildlife zone, and staring amazed, as two dragonflies wizzed past, twisting and turning around each others bodies in a breathtaking whisp of colours, just like they were in love. It was quite amazing, and it remains locked in my memories to this day.
I've always hated most insects and those menacing creepy crawlies. I guess i'm just scared. Moths, Spiders, craneflies. And then worms. Most of all worms.
Though then again - there are some that I find remarkable! The Ladybird being my favourite - so small, and yet so trusting to sit on your finger. The bee, willing to give up it's own life to protect the colony, it's black and gold stripes shining in the summer sunlight. And then of course the Dragonfly. They're so amazing. Just fabulous - I've always loved dragons of any sort...
Last GCSE exam tomorrow, Additional Maths - not fun, but can't wait till they're over. And then, in just 16 days i'm off to Nepal for a month - 6th July to the 6th of August. I really can't wait. I love photography - and i'll definatly do some there, high in the mountains...
Ps. Over 1000 profile veiws now to my 16 photos. Thank you everyone :) thank you

My pod
My pod - a rubbish (not to mention cheesy) ;) little play on words (but also My pod - my own space (pod) in my head to escape :P)
I'd just been listoning to it, Jack Johnson - Better together to be precise :) So yeah, it was kind of a spur of the moment photo kinda thing.
and I've finally reached 500 views! I think this calls big thanks to everyone :)
Once again I can report a serious lack of revision today :) but due to the history exam on tuesday and German(s) on wednesday, and the fact i'm on study leave and have no exam, that will all change tomorrow....maybe

My little Yellow Eye
I'd just like to say that I LOVE being on study leave. Yes, I do have to revise non-stop, however there are the little breaks where one can pop out into the garden to capture a photo or two. It's brilliant... however admittedly, this photo has always annoyed me for some reason :\
This photo was taken about midday in my Garden - and It's the 13th of June today. 23 days till I go to Nepal. So close. A 1 month expedition in the mountains. It's going to be amazing. (and hopefully I'll get some amazing photos). So looking forward to that!
Anyway, for now, back to history revision.

It's the Bee's Knees
So, it's Saturday and I've nearly finished ALL my Maths, English and Science GCSEs (which may I say I am very grateful for).
Anyway - it's a rather pleasent day outside, and my father is currently in the process of cutting the lawn... I love the smell of cut grass, despite the fact it gives me terrible Hay Fever... oh, the scent is wafting through the door! Yummm...Urgggh blocked nose. But I guess some of the great things in life (like the smell of cut grass) don't come without consiquences... ah well it's definatly worth it. I love that grass.
