Fiery Bolero

pattern: Fiery Bolero from Interweave Knits, Summer 05

yarn: LB (old) Cotton Ease in white

needles: US #6s and #3s

mods: none. I had to use #6s to get gauge, and I think I just played the picked-up stitch numbers by ear, but other than that it's straight from the pattern

it was the old Cotton Ease, so it was a little finer than the newer stuff, but I used less than 3 balls. It might have been just 2, but I can't remember now if I used a little of ball 3 or not.

I love it! I made a similar (toddler-sized) shrug for my niece and have been looking for a pattern like this (for me) for quite some time. It looks great. Especially with the dress, as others have posted.
