sunrise in Dunbar

This is a blend of three exposures. The tide was rising quickly, and had to move back after this shot in order not to disappear in the sea. Conditions were a little more hostile than it appears on photo.

It was a windy morning again, but brought my big beast of a tripod. And the pictures are noticeably sharper than those taken the day before.
This is a manual blend of three exposures, exposure time ranging from 2 to 30 sseconds.

Seacliff beach

Seacliff beach

This one is very similar to a recent upload.

I prefer the light in the previous one, but the sky is nicer in this one and the sea has a bit more texture as the waves were getting bigger.

I am not sure yet which one I prefer, as theye are similar, but oh so different. Any advice, comments or feedback are more than appreciated.

Tantallon castle and Bass rock

Tantallon castle and Bass rock

The wind on Seacliff beach was ferocious, and I had stupidly taken my (not so sturdy) hiking tripod with me. Hence I am not 100 % satisfied with the sharpness, but perhaps I should stop pixel peeing and get out more.

This was taken a few minutes after my previous upload, and unofrtunately the light was of slightly lesser quality.

Thanks for taking the time to comment or give feedback.

Bass rock is a volcanic plug, and hosts the larges colony of gannets in the world. It has been described as one of the "wildlife wonders of the world" by Sir David Attenborough.
