This is a photography of light installation (real light, real square 1x1 meter) i set in nature or where during the night you have usually no lightning, I try to redefine the space/landscape for my own purpose: create a poetic space/time moment. ...... « Par ses gros pixels de lumière, Benoit résume nos villes, notre besoin de lumière pour écarter les sombres inconnues se cachant dans le noir, notre peur de ce que nous ne connaissons finalement peu, notre nature. Nous ne somme finalement qu'un point de lumière autour duquel se masse notre planète, qui nous supporte alors que nous la rendons aveugle. Nous sommes là, flottant dans le vide de notre nombril, illuminant les alentours en espérant repousser les ombres de notre ignorance, de notre incapacité à accepter ce qui nous entoure, ce que nous sommes. Benoit nous joue un tour de magie, et nous cherchons encore à découvrir ses ficelles. Certains diront qu'il n'a voulu que nous montrer un carré de lumière... Non... Il y a plus...
