Funny Ben there was a thread started last night about contacting people from pnet and letting them know about this place. I got your email yesterday at work and was going to get hold of you today. And here you are. Very cool.

That's a pretty cool shot Ben. Not too sure what the hell is happening, but pretty neat. I'm assuming this is a composite?

    4. BennehBoy (68 months ago | reply)

Actually no it's a straight up photo - he's just done a somersault off of the grey bit at the bottom left. Glad you like it.

Serene? Interesting. I see what you mean and after seeing the series and realizing what it is, his expression is downright amazing.

As a standalone image, that look of serenity led me to believe it was a composite. And I was thinking...what the hell is he trying to accomplish here. I thought maybe it was supposed to represent suicide or something...jumping from the building...i dunno.

      Anyways...excellent photo.

Great shot, would be even better if the jumper wasnt so tightly cropped.

It's really just so amazing - what a shot. So crisp. These fellows are astonishing, Ben! (and so is the photog, of course...)

Did he jump from the roof of the building? If so, did you ask him before he plated and dirtied your camera and clothes if he had any last comments?

he is like a modern dancer. I like the expression. wonderful catch.

    16. BennehBoy (66 months ago | reply)

I suppose there is some crossover with dance - I hadn't thought about it - dance is certainly a form of urban expression, hip hop, breakdance, krumping, etc.

I do not mind the crop; in fact it does not bother me at all!
I know that there are those who like to compose their shots, lining them up, adjusting & fixing them like some neurotic hygienist
but street is not about this it’s about life and natural life is unprompted.
This lad shows us the grace & dexterity of a true physical artist, how he seems to be perfectly balanced not just with body but also with mind & soul reminds me too that he has been influenced by Zen and not purely serendipity

I'm still amazed every time I see his expression - this is one of my all time personal faves. We'll have to try and organise a shoot where you can come along mate - you'd love it.
