Malagasy woman and child

On the banks of the Tsiribihina River. This is a pseudo-HDR version of another photo. It was scanned from film and adjusted to give three different 'exposures', which were then used to generate a HDR image. This was followed by some tone-mapping. The treatment brought out the details, at the cost of looking a little less natural than the original.
