A Burst of Purple and Green

An "interior" close-up shot of a Flower. I do exaggerate the purple and green hues a bit. I think it's the first time I tried shooting such shots.

Hope everyone is well! As you can see, I really have no time anymore for Flickr nowadays but I thought at least I should post once a while just to keep in touch. :D I will visit drop by your photostreams the next few days but if I didn't, it's not bec your work is not good, just that I don't have time to visit everyone.

Beef Tenderloin with Fries

Just cooked this. Before I forget, better record it down.

1) Marinate beef tenderloin with Japanese yakinikku sauce and McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning in a marinating bag. Leave in fridge overnight.

2) On a grill pan, add splash of olive oil and heat up with medium high heat. Add beef tenderloin and grill both sides for 2 mins each.

3) For sauce, mix steak gravy powder with water. Add sugar for added sweetness. Add potato starch to thicken sauce. Add unsalted butter for added flavour. Bring it to boil

4) Pour sauce over steak and serve with lettuce and fries.

The Pride of Malaysia : Petronas Towers

The Petronas Towers need no introduction. It might no longer be the tallest skyscraper, but definitely still one of the most impressive when viewed close-up and in person.

I originally intended to take a blue hour shot and a night shot of this skyscraper. But at last the weather wasn't co-operating. It was hazy and cloudy all thru the afternoon and started raining throughout the night. Might as well convert it to B&W since the colors were so dull anyway.

As usual, best seen LARGE

I'll be away from Flickr for a while. Busy with work and also frankly, a bit bored. Hopefully, my interest will renew soon to post again. Happy Shooting! :-)

Entanglements

斷了的弦　再怎麼練

Lyrics from one of my favourite song. Basically, it means that if something ( like a guitar string ) is broken, you can try to mend it back, but it will never sound the same again like before. Understand? Nevermind. Have a great weekend!
